Thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer!

I can't even tell you how excited I am to be allowed to be part of your special day! Even after photographing many weddings, I still get excited for every single one. I hope you are similarly excited to get started and create a collection of beautiful photographs to remember your wedding day by.

My number one priority is to ensure that you both enjoy every moment of your wedding day and to create stunning images, for you to relive your special day over and over again.

Please feel free to join my private client Facebook group, in there you can ask any questions you might have and I will be posting useful guides and tips, as well as upcoming events and special offers.

I've put together this little guide to tell you a little bit more about the run-up to your wedding day, what happens afterwards and what you can expect from me. If you have any other questions at any point, please do get in touch! I'm always here to help and am more than happy to answer any additional questions.

The run-up to your Big Day

To me, it is most important that you never feel left alone in the run-up to your big day! I aim to be as open and approachable as I possibly can be and want to make sure you know exactly what's going to happen at every step of the way! Here's what you can expect from me in the run-up to your wedding day:

  • You've already done the first step! You've booked me to photograph your wedding! Yay!

  • Once your booking fee has been paid, you can tick wedding photography off your to-do list, that's now done and dusted and you can concentrate on the rest of your list.

  • About 4-6 weeks before your big day, I'll be in touch to arrange your engagement session (if that's part of your package) and your pre-wedding consultation.

  • Around the same time, I will send you the invoice for your balance, the payment is due 4 weeks before your date.

  • During your pre-wedding consultation, we will go over the timings of your day, your family group photographs and any other photography related requests or questions you might have.

Your Wedding Day

On your wedding day, I will arrive at the agreed time - if you booked bridal preparations, I'll normally arrive approx 1.5-2 hours before the ceremony. That gives us plenty of time together in the morning.

I will be there to capture every little detail and emotion - nothing goes unmissed! If you have any specific photo requests, please let me know during our pre-wedding consultation. But don't worry, if you forgot something, just ask on the day, I won't say no to any additional requests!

A traditional full wedding day could look something like this:

  • Bridal and Groom preparations

  • Photographs of the ceremony set up

  • Guests arriving (formal or candid - that's your choice)

  • The Ceremony

  • Drinks Reception (time for candid photographs)

  • Family Group Photographs (as per shot list, which we discuss during the pre-wedding meeting)

  • Bridal Party Photographs

  • The all-important Bridal Portraits

  • More candid photographs of guests mingling

  • Photographs of the table settings before guests are seated

  • Speeches

  • Cake Cutting

  • First Dance

  • Photographs of guests dancing and having a good time (my second photographer and I will stay for the first 3 dances)

What happens afterwards

Once we've said our good-byes and I leave you to enjoy the rest of your special day, I head home, jump on my computer, upload your photos and back them up! I like to make sure that your photos are safe before I go to bed.

A full day wedding with two photographers involves a lot of time for post-processing. I'll have roughly between 2000-2500 images to look through. My first post-processing step is the culling of the images, I will go through all of the photographs and remove any duplicates, photos where I caught someone blinking and any other images that aren't quite up to standard.

When the culling is done, I go through every single image and polish them to perfection. My edits include colour correction, cropping, brightening and basic retouching. Additional retouching is available at an additional cost.

Once all your images have been edited, I will upload them to a private online gallery and send you an exciting email with the link and your password., so you can go and view your wedding photos for the very first time! This happens about 3-4 weeks after your wedding day. You are more than welcome to share the link with your family and friends as well. They will be able to purchase photographs directly from the gallery and have them delivered to their doorstep.

The final step is the delivery of your USB with all of your digital files. Your USB will be ready around the same time as your online gallery, I'll be in touch to either arrange a suitable date and time to deliver the USB to you, or I can post it, if you prefer.

If you are happy with the service I provided, I would be very grateful if you could leave me a review on Google and refer me to any of your friends or family who might need a photographer.

Wedding Albums

Memories that last forever!

Other than booking a great photographer to document your wedding, printing your images is the second most important thing you can do.

Most people will only book a professional photographer a few times in their lifetime and in my opinion, those photos shouldn’t get covered in digital cobwebs on your hard drive. They need to be printed, for them to truly come to life.

Your wedding album is the best gift to your future self and it will grow in value every year. You will be proud to show your stunning images to friends and family. There’s nothing like sitting down and reliving your wedding day, feeling those same emotions, laughing and shedding a tear at your memories.

It may sound old school to print, but it’s actually really cool!

I love designing albums. We'll design it together and customise it exactly the way you envisage it. I want your album to be as unique as your wedding. You can choose from a wide range of sizes, styles and colours. To make it easier for you to chose, I have samples albums available for your to see and to pick the perfect options for your wedding album.
